AT THE BENCH
I trained as a jeweller, then studied industrial design, and that way of thinking, resolving an object until it works as well as it looks, still shapes every piece I make.
GREGORIO VASTA.
APPROACH
I make fine jewellery with a hard edge: high-grade stones, settings cut by hand, the lines kept sharp. I would rather a piece feel a little severe than soft. Most of my work goes into the setting, because that is where the design really lives.

AT THE BENCH
I trained as a jeweller, then studied industrial design, and that way of thinking, resolving an object until it works as well as it looks, still shapes every piece I make.
TRAINING
My training was formal, in jewellery manufacturing at TAFE, with diamond setting learned at Cerrone. At Sarah & Sebastian I gained experience across client consultation and procurement, guiding commissions and sourcing stones and materials. Five years in, that range of design, setting and sourcing is what I bring to the bench.
STUDIO
Gregorio Vasta is the private practice I run now. The work is bespoke and made one piece at a time, for people who want something genuinely their own rather than chosen from a case.
Something genuinely your own.
